What are the Exhibit Hall Hours?
Exhibit hall hours are: Thursday, April 27 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | Friday, April 28 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | Saturday, April 29 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.
How many Exhibitors are there?
There are approximately 200 exhibitors at the Conference.
How many doctors/assistants are there?
The MPC attracts over 2,000 podiatric professionals every year!
What time does the first lecture start?
The first lectures begin daily at 8:00 am.
What time does the last lecture end?
End times may vary depending on the day’s schedule, but usually end no later than 6:00 pm.
How many CME’s can I get?
You can earn up to 34 credits at The Midwest Podiatry Conference. The accumulation of credits is based on the maximum number of hours possible to attend and can also include additional workshops should the attendee choose to attend.
Is there a coat check?
There is a coat check available onsite from the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
What are the scan times?
The morning scan time is 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. The afternoon scan time is 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
Am I scanned just for checking in?
No, all scanning is based solely on attendance at the Conference. You must be scanned in the exhibit hall at the designated scanning stations in booths 139, 430 and 930.
I arrived late and missed a scan, what can I do?
Requests for missed scans must be sent in writing to the MPC. The letter must contain the date and time missed, an explanation as to why the scan was missed as well as how many credits you feel you should be issued. The letter will be reviewed by the MPC Board upon receipt. You will be notified via email of a final decision.
When do I get my CME certificate?
Your CME certificate will be emailed to you approximately 15 business days after the conclusion of the meeting. You will have up to 6 months to download your certificate. After 6 months, the link to download your certificate will expire and there will be a $10.00 fee associated with certificate reprints.
How many guests can I bring?
Each registrant is permitted (1) spouse pass at a cost of $30.
What does “Registration Incomplete” mean in my email?
If you have received an email that indicates your registration is incomplete, you are either missing pertinent information or have not paid for your registration. It is imperative to log back in and update the appropriate information or apply a payment to your registration. If you need assistance, please contact Jessica Mauger at 630.571.9741.
I didn’t get full credits but I was there at every scan, what can I do?
A request must be sent in writing to the MPC. The letter must contain a detailed explanation of how many credits you are missing as well as any documentation that you have that may support your claim that you were present. The letter will be reviewed by the MPC Board and investigated as necessary. You will be notified via email of a final decision.
Can I get a refund for my registration?
All registration cancellations must be made in writing and received (not postmarked) at the Midwest Podiatry Conference office by February 29, 2016 to receive a registration refund. A $50 fee will be charged for registration cancellations. Absolutely no refunds will be issued after February 29, 2016. No refunds or certificates for no-shows. Allow 4-6 weeks after the conference ends for refund checks.
I missed a day due to weather and/or sickness, can I still get credit?
Unfortunately, the learner must claim only continuing education contact hours commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
