MIDWEST PODIATRY CONFERENCE
The Midwest Podiatry Conference is a partnership of eleven American Podiatric Medical Association state components (associations/societies). The state components of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin are the original founding members with Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan serving as the current founding members who make up the Executive Council. Regular members are the state components of Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and the Canadian province of Ontario.
OUR MISSION
- Promote the art and science of podiatric medicine and the betterment of public health through an annual program of continuing education and other professionally oriented instruction for member podiatric physicians.
- Achieve a better rapport and understanding among the health professions, and increase public awareness of podiatric medicine through public relations activities.
The Midwest Podiatry Conference is an approved provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
CONTINUING EDUCATION MISSION STATEMENT
The education mission of the Midwest Podiatry Conference is to purposefully advance the understanding of technology, techniques, and medical therapy related to podiatric surgery and medicine, addressing the healthcare needs of the public and catering to the educational needs and interests of podiatric medical professionals and healthcare practitioners. Our goal is to enhance provider knowledge and elevate patient outcomes by delivering the highest quality didactic and clinical learning experiences.
We are committed to offering a diverse array of instructional methods to improve patient care, treatment protocols, and practice efficiency. Our approach includes didactic presentations, engaging panel discussions, thought-provoking debates, in-depth case studies, interactive question and answer sessions, and collaborative round table discussions. By providing a well-rounded portfolio of educational opportunities, we strive to empower podiatric medical professionals and healthcare practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the evolving challenges in the field, ultimately contributing to the advancement of healthcare and patient well-being.
